DAVID HINOJOSA ADHMANN

David Hinojosa is a renowned Mexican interdisciplinary artist and activist specializing in collage, graphic art, new media, conceptual art and participatory performance. His work critically explores the intersections of art, commerce and democracy. A graduate of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (MFA, 2003), he is the founder of the Organization for the Democratization of the Visual Arts (ODBK) and creator of Stockartist.org, a simulated art market platform. Hinojosa Adhmann is also the creator of DHStyle, a participatory art project inspired by style magazines. This project examines how magazines reflect societal aspirations and critiques the addictive allure of their glossy, idealized imagery. Through his initiatives like Pure Taste Indicator (PTI) and Art Market Regulation Commission (AMARC), Hinojosa Adhmann challenges traditional power dynamics in the art world, promoting transparency, inclusivity and broader public engagement. Since 2005, he has participated in numerous international solo and group exhibitions, including the Biennale of Belgrade, Serbia (2023); PAS – The Most Beautiful People’s Magazine, Berlin, Germany (2024); Museo Arte Contemporaneo de Queretaro (MACQ), Mexico (2021). Hinojosa Adhmann's works are included in the collections of institutions such as Museo Arte Contemporaneo de Queretaro (MACQ), Mexico and various private collections worldwide.​
