Mariia Bondar is an artist working in the fields of conceptual and abstract art, with a particular sensitivity to the aesthetics of the surrounding environment. In her graphic and painting works, nature intertwines with abstraction, creating a unique fusion of technique and idea. Her artworks are conceived not only as visual images but also as emotional experiences, intended to evoke a response from the viewer and engage them in a subtle dialogue with the world and with themselves.

ARTIST VOICE  

My works are born at the intersection of observation and inner experience. I began my artistic journey by creating abstract forms and fields of color, inspired by nature — its textures, light, and movement.

Today, my focus is on the human body. I am drawn to poses, gestures, and subtle details — the curves of limbs, the tension in a posture, fleeting expressions that reveal inner emotions. I strive to capture these moments and translate them into visual form. By isolating parts of the body or emphasizing movement, my graphic work transforms observation into a language of emotion, where contour and shadow carry meaning.

My graphic works create spaces of emotion, inviting the viewer into a dialogue and encouraging personal interpretation of the image. I am fascinated by the idea that even the smallest detail can evoke complex feelings and stories. Through this attention to the body and movement, my work bridges external observation and inner experience.

For me, creativity is a continual exploration of the intersection between observation and inner perception. I transform fleeting impressions, details of the human body, and subtle movements into a visual language where form, movement, and energy merge into a unified, emotionally rich whole. My works aim to capture the essence of life in motion, inviting the viewer to pause, reflect, and feel the emotion embedded in each piece.
